I only regularly watch the news and Big Brother but the TVs always on, usually sound muted. Think I will start switching it off because that is ridiculous. I grew up in a house where all we did was watch telly, just seems weird it being off! Prefer the internet, as much useless information as you could possibly need. My mums had the internet for 2 months and has already said she'd be lost without it.

Yep I would personally. I only recently got broadband.

I use the net mostly for forums and talking to my pals by email etc. Those things aren't hurt too much by a slow internet connection. Saying that, broadband is much better tbh.

    Anyway.

I use much more internet than TV.

About 8 hours internet per day (yes, seriously!). 1 hour TV per day on average.

internet! TV is really quite bad!!
i generally only watch comedy on TV though. and whats with "comedy night" where all channels compete and so you miss everything. why not one comedy show per day per channel.

    shows i miss on tv

    family guy,
not the nine oclock news (!!),
    friends,
    men behaving badly,

Hours and hours of internet a day, all sorts of crap. Wouldn't be quite so bad if I had something to do.

I spend way too much of my disposable time watching tv atm, It did used to be mostly web based, mmorpg's swallow up a lot of time. But atm it's sky+ and mockumentaries like how clean is your home and 'doctor' gillian mckenze last nights how clean is your home nearly had me gippin
