Well in terms of protein, protein shakes and bars generally are pretty similar.
However in some protein bars, they use rubbish protein sources like hydrolyzed collagen. If your drinking a Whey Protein shake, you know exactly which protein you are getting!

In terms of carbs, in general protein bars contain much more, whereas a protein shake contains <10% carbs(normally).

Protein bars are very good IMO, just a bit expensive.

whey protein in water post exercise is probably more effective as it don't take so long to break down.

You tried flavoured whey? Alot of it tastes pretty nice

I've got cookie and cream flavour at the mo, not great with water but really nice with milk If your having with water you might want to try a fruity flavour

    yum. not cheap, but yum.

infact one idea i am still meaning to try but i'm sure it would work is, if your on a tight budget like most of the planet at the mo, take one 5kg batch of a well known unflavoured whey, from where ever off this board, then take 1kg of boditronics flavoured whey and mix well. obviously the scaling down can be done to miake mixing easy. boditronics flavouring is so strong and so well done it will take the watering down effect of mixing it with unflavoured whey quite well.

i did it 50/50 with a sample they sent me and it was still overpowering lovely. i didnt know if i wanted to drink it or get a spoon, sit down and eat it! top draw stuff. (there toffee one if i recall proper, not sure though) i'm sure it will take 4/1 or even 5/1 ratios with any of there stuff as i tried 3 of there samples and they were all strong.

infact, i still havent got around to buying from boditronics yet. is it a case of getting it off their webby, or do they do deals with other sources that then sell it cheaper?
