keeping gear in barrel

Just wonderd if it's ok to keep gear loaded up 4 a day or so. Cant find any posts to say that you should'nt but none to say you should either. Thinking about loading up at home and getting my training bud to jab me at the gym as i find shoulder jabs tricky 1 handed. cheers.
