Not just kp nuts but any roasted nuts are bad as the good fats that they contain will have almost certainly been damaged by the heat of the roasting. They also have a lot of salt which isn't good if you have a history of high blood pressure or heart conditions.

Yeah try and steer clear of the roasted, with the plain salted ones just do what I do any wash all the salt off them, but after bung em in the microwave to dry em otherwise they go all soggy, cos no-one likes soggy nuts...

But if you put them in the microwave then the heat will damage the good fats just like roasting them would.

    Just buy plain unroasted nuts.

But don't they make peanut butter by roasting them then grinding them down?? I'm pretty nearly 100% sure they do, and peanut butter is good for you
