lard arse gets busy

oh well its about that time cant put it off no more time to get busy.

im 35. 14 and a half stone[down from 16] and carrying to much body weight. i smoke drink [far to much] and eat all the wrong food but as of monday[tommorow] life changes...ive smoked and drank for 20 years so quitting those aint gonna be easy[reading some of these journals ive realised how many peoples lives revolve around booze myself included but no more].

the routine starting tommorow will be this.
mon...deads3x8
rows 3x8
w.g pullups[cant do chins yet] 3x8
curls 3x8

tue....cardio&abs..this should be fun as the only time i run is to the pub to get last orders..

wed...bench3x8
m.press3x8
skulls3x8
dips[???cant do them yet but will try]
thur cardio&abs

fri....squat3x8
sldl3x8
calf raises3x8
sat cardio&abs

sounds easy writing it hope it goes well.

    cheers bro ive been changing my routin all the time and getting nowhere so im gonna stick to this for 8-12 weks and see whats happening then.

    It is fairly similar to the routine I have been doing, only difference is im doing a 5x5 on most exercises, tend to just do 3x8 on skullcrushers, BB Curls and calf raises.

    In conjunction with a good sound diet I can't see you not getting some progress off this.

    DAY 1
    just got back from gym. really enjoyed it im determined to stick to it this time. not to impressed with the weights lifted but i gotta start somewhere so here we go.....

    lat pulldowns 4x6 50k
    deads 4x6 90k
    bent rows 4x6 50k
    inc h curls 4x6 2 20 lb bells[not impressed with that] still better next time hopefully.
    just going to get stuck into dinner.[tuna baked potatoes&veg] up untill now my diet has been that crap i didnt even know how to cook vegies but learning every day

    If it was me i'd put the deadlifts first, always find I need all my energy for them!

    i find doing it this way i am fully warmed up when i get to deads and can lift more....

    missed testerday due to soreness from monday dont want any injuries do we.this is how it went...
    bench..4x6 55k
    m.press..4x8 35k[more weight next time]
    push downs 4x8 130 lb[gonna do these for a few weeks then do skulls]
    dips..4x3 body weight [i thought i would not be able to do any of these and was gonna do negatives so while this may be crap to most guys i am quite pleased]
    not much weight i know but we all gotta start somewhere..
    a guy asked me to spot him he was benching 100k for 4x8 of all the things that have happened to me so far this is probably been the most motivating so far it got me thinking how long will it take me to start moving weight like this im more determined than ever. i know i got a long way to go but i will get there. all in im loving my training at the moment and cant wait to see changes in my strength and body. so untill next time keep lifting see ya later
