leg press

Out of curiosity I leg pressed 640 X 4. Is that average, sub average. Just curious.

    Yeah Bro,

    much better off squatting and at the end of the day it's not what you lift it's how you do it.

    as mentioned above. Leave the leg press and get barbell squatting. You will get much stronger and make better allround gains in the long run.

    it depends on your level of training could be good could be bad .one ? theres no easy answer to .

    leg press hurts my knees for some reason. squats don't seem to bother my knees near as bad as leg press does.

    I don't back squat, I am front sqatting about 120k for 6 now, which is stupidly light for my size. Makes no difference where I am though as I have a power rack at home.

    Leg press weight vary according to the mechanics of the machine too. So on your machine 640 (I presume lbs) may be very good, but on others it may be average.

    try squating mate a more all over workout if you not sure get an experienced spotter and start light 2x10
