Its all good!
Was odd doing the cardio in the dark again this morning, but it meant no one noticed I had my sweatshirt on back to front (it was 5:40am, thats my excuse!)

Whats it do? It makes me go arrrgh, urrrrgh, bleurrgh, ah my throat, bleurghhh etc lol!
 
I think its a strong anti oxidant and theres been some studies done on damaged liver. Apparently its also good at releasing energy, it works in fat as well as water which makes it stand out.
 
All I know is that in my pre-workout cocktail it made me gag, but I then had the best shoulders workout for at least 2 months. Shoulder weights have dropped since cutting (far more than I would have liked) but last night they jumped back to within 5 - 10 lbs of my best, and that was across all exercises.
Whether it was placebo effect or not, it worked!

Yeah, its getting closer!
Actually, yesterday was the first day where I have really struggled - for some reason I just hit a complete wall at about 4pm! Luckily I had done arms first thing in the morning otherwise I really wouldnt have been able to train, I literally couldnt stand up for wanting to fall asleep! I dont think its purely the cutting and cardio, but I felt like death warmed up...
Totally different today, I woke up and was really happy with what was in the mirror, felt really good on the cardio and have got through the day fine! And even better, its cheat meal time this evening!!!

All going good here with this member of Team Micky thanks Weshy!!!
 
Doing the extra cardio as per orders - tonight I chose the treadmill nearest the mirror and made the most of practising tricep poses as I walked!!
Weight is still ahead of target according to my excel graph (haha, I feel so much better when I can get statistical about something!!).
 
Most important though is the fact that abs are starting to show through!!! Which is a good incentive as there are so many boxes of food and sweets going round work at the moment where loads of people have just come back from Japan / India / Vietnam on business trips! Luckily people at work are really supportive so they are trying to eat it all discreetly without rubbing my face in it.
 
9 1/2 weeks til the first show
11 1/2 weeks til the second (unless of course I win the first one, then I shall just come to the second as a spectator!! lol!)

Still here!!!
Got a rude awakening last night - for some reason I have always thought I was 5ft 10 - I havent had this confirmed, I just thought I was for some reaon!!
I was using this to measure the weight I would need to hit for the Classics class! The way everything was going, I was actually thinking I would come in light...
So last night I measured myself properly expecting it to say 177.8cms... and it comes out saying 174 cms!?!?!??!
Suddenly to do Classics I have gone from aiming for 83.8Kgs (184.7lbs) to having to hit 78kgs (171lbs)!! This means instead of thinking I have 12lbs more to go, it appears I have 25lbs to go.... Looking in the mirror I cant believe I can have 25lbs to go when I have already lost 19lbs and have nowhere near the excess left to do that with!
So now I realise I have two options - Under 80kg class and come in right at the upper end or do the 80-90kg class and hope that my conditioning makes up for any lack of size...
 
Lets just say the will power and sheer bloody mindedness is even stronger now!!!!

you always have to lose more than u think just coz you can see abs doesnt m,ean your shredded i thought i looked great and then see i have to lose another stone you wonder where its gonna come from ..but forearms glutes etc its all in there ready to come off aim for the high end of the lighter id say youll get destroyed in the other even with conditioning

Yeah, thats what Im focusing on - aim to hit the high end of the lighter class and try to come in as conditioned as possible. There isnt any chance of putting additional muscle on between now and the comp, so it would be naive to try and go against heavier guys.
Conditioning, conditioning, conditioning - thats my new mantra!!!!
 
On a training side, I had a REALLY satisfying chest session this evening. Was only 5lbs down on my PBs for dumbell pressing so was really happy! Even hit a PB on dumbell flyes, something I really wasnt expecting!!!
