metabolic diet?

Basically trying to learn more about this diet and whether people have tryed it? ive been reading it in a book i bought recently called serious strength training and sounds worth a shot. Anyone have any experience of this sort of diet? its a low carb diet between 30 to 60g a day midweek then carb up on weekends. From what ive read this could stimulate fat loss and also gain muscle?

It's ok, not a panacea but you have to be really committed to get the best from it.  Plenty of threads on this lately under the guise of Keto or Anabolic Diet, they are all essentially the same. Metabolic Diet, as I understand is an easier, more palatable version of the AD designed for the general population as it is less strict.

Is it a good diet for bulking? i was wanting to give this a go as i seem to be carb sensitive. Even if i cut my carbs to 100g per day midweek and get rest of my calories from fats and protein, cud i get the same success as i would while bulking with carbs? surely they would be leaner gains with less carbs replaced with fats and protein with the same amount of calories i am having at the moment.

Couldn't tell you, read the book and give it a go if u fancy it!!  You wouldn't be following the Met diet on 100 g cho per day. A lot of ppl feel ****e on about 100 gms cho per day as they never make the full adaptation to becoming a fat burner as there's too much carbs in the diet preventing the switch to using free fatty acids as a source of fuel.
