i read that metabolism slow down as you increase you body fat percentage so the holistic approach would be to do cardio. If it were me, I'd be taking ephedrine(safer), T3(not for beginners or uneducated), ot the classic ECA stack(tried and tested)

    British Naturopathic Journal

    Effects of T4 and T3

STIMULATES oxidative metabolism i.e. increases basal metabolic rate, structural protein synthesis, role in nerve and bone formation, enzymatic synthesis

ENHANCES carbohydrate absorption and metabolism, fat (cholesterol and triglyceride) metabolism (and lowers blood levels of these), secretion of other endocrine hormones

INCREASES blood flow, especially to the skin, heart rate and strength of heartbeat rate and depth of respiration, rate of digestive juice secretion motility of gastrointestinal tract, mental alertness

IMPROVES muscle contraction, connective tissue integrity, hair, skin and nails, teeth, and conversion of carotene to vitamin A

REGULATES sympathetic nervous system activity. T3 increases the metabolic clearance of cortisol
