i don't think it's a question that can be answered. there's to many factors involved-hight, weight, frame size etc. you shouldn't worry about it though. just keep trainin, they'll get bigger in no time. when i was 20 i had 11 inch arms, laughable!

    start - 8 stone 7 lbs
    current - 10 stone 1 lb

As said above. If your arms are bigger than the guy next to you then you're doing good (I mean muscle only) and if not, train harder

I am just under 14 inches and im 16. Used to be 13.5 but that was when I never trained my tricep. Never knew how important the tricep is untill recently.

In my opinion the tri is the most important muscle in the arm. Read some of the threads on tri's, there are many good workout listed.

At 16 I wouldn't worry about it, 12" arms for 16 isn't bad, wait until you're 18 before you start hitting the iron.

IMO you can start training at any age regardless of whether the work out is endurance or resistance based. the key issue to remember at a young age is suitability to both mental and physical age and ultimately making it fun and enjoyable with a view to becoming more serious when the child becomes older

i started endurance sports at the age of 10, obviously on a sclaed down programme, this programmed allowed for a sustained, enjoyable 10 years in the sport opposed to being a all out 1 year wonder most kids experience if they try too much, too soon

Yes ! 1" in three months would be very good. It is generally accepted that for every inch on your arms you need to gain about 10lbs of lean body weight , assuming your are training your whole body. Get your training and diet in place mate and they will grow

No biggie like, there are a lot worse things for you than using steroids, I mean I probably shouldn't have been smoking crack or getting into bar fights at your age TBH  - drab4

Unless it's just my genetics and the fact I'm still growing: you can get half an inch on your arms in one week. Will still look for results. I doubt you could get half an inch every week though (just incase you were getting your hopes up)

If you eat big and work out hard and still are growing then yeah I think you could make a half inch gain in about two weeks.I think due to our age our test is also higher than the average male so thats another advantage.

you can get half an inch on your arms in one week

This would be due to increased pump, water retention, or both and not muscle growth. It is simply not possible to gain a half inch of muscle in a week.

come to think of it, he disappeared in April, and he was 16!

    hmm this is too weird..
