my days off..

Just started my bulk, my routine is only 3 days a week.. so i have nothing to do?

Are there any exercises that i can do that won't effect my bulk / perhaps make me bigger?

i'd do cardio, but it would effect my gains.. so

    fork to mouth curls?
nah i know what you mean mate, i feel like im missing out on something if i haven't got a bodypart to tear to shreds each day. i have just modified my mon/tues/thurs/fri split to allow me to train on weds aswell.

    what is your actual routine?

calm down, its life, mate, its only a game

just do core work, abs etc. and doing a bit of cardio will not 'effect your gains', do low intensity training for about half an hour and at the very worst it will keep belly fat at bay during your bulking. think how hard it is to change your body, your muscles won't just fall off by going for a run.

    Do some active recovery work

-very light work on a muscle group you just trained (ie. if you just did upper back the day before, do a couple sets of extremely light pulldowns to get a bit of blood flow)
    -stretching
    -foam rolling
    -contrast showers

Basically do something that will help your muscles recover instead of break down (like they do in training)

stretching would be a very good option.

i do that myself on days off, half hour on the bike then some stretches for about 15-30 mins.

will do you good in the long run.

I've gotta start focusing on stretching again lately too - I always push it back to the end of the day, then decide I'd be better off going right to bed and getting the extra 20 minutes sleep I would've spent stretching lmao
