Been tough only having significant carbs for 2 meals a day most days, although this is not due to energy loss just cravings and being use to filling up on cereals, oats, bread etc.
Was very hard to stay on the diet for first 2 days but now ive done 5 days its easier each day,

I can see results already, my waist is looking tighter, intake around 2000-2200 a day.

I'd welcome any tips and responses to improving my diet plan.

Im gonna have a cheat meal tomorrow, probably be a small sainsburys deep pan pizza followed by a tub of skinny cow ice cream

Bro cut the milk in your oats or bix, use water instead.

Just out of curiosity, why does everyone on this site seem to have cottage cheese before bedtime? For micellular casein right with some extra fat to slow down absorption time? Im presuming thats the case???

I would lay off the cottage cheese slightly and eat more lean meats. Instead of having half can of tuna and some cot cheese, why dont you try 200g of fresh cod?

Byf1, whats your reasoning for using cottage cheese and why not tuna or chicken breast before bed? Curious.

yea I'm bit confused about milk being good or bad? people seem to have conflicting opinions on it. I just have it in the morning and buy semi. Don't think I could'nt have oats with water TBH Or perhaps I could take the milk to fat free/low type would this be a better choice?

You could replace the olive oil with some flax oil or a decent oil blend. And just get rid of the milk, dunno how weetabix tastes with water though . Oats with water is a nice choice if you get rid of the milk. Some more fibourous veg is needed there too.

The extra lactose adds up quite easily on your carb intake and Im sure I read of other reasons elsewhere.

its only 250ml of skimmed milk! dropping thats hardly gonna tranform my physique is it. oats and weetabix in water ain't gonna happen, i need my milk.

i have cottage cheese before bed because, its easy to eat, easy to prepare, i like it, low in carb and gives me protein.

i don't have 200g of fresh cod because theres no decent fishmongers near by and its expensive, plus fresh cod deseves to be eaten straight after its cooked for best texture and taste, cold cod just doesn't do it justice.

im looking to get down 10-12% BF not contest condition.

    thanks for the replies

    keep them rolling in

Ur diet seems good to me, good protein sources, fats and carbs around workouts. All i would do is go higher protein/ fats and low carbs on non workout days and do cardio. Good luck, keep us updated. By the way, i lost most weight when i did cardio twice a day. When waking and at night. I dont do any running just a brisk walk uphill for an hour which i reckon is the best fat burnning thing you can do. Plus its nice to just go walking aroung and listen to music.... gives you time to think. When i actually stuck to it, the pounds came off!
