nabzys aspiration 4 an LL cool j type body

aight thought i might jus jump on the bandwagon like everyone else and start up a trainin and diet journal. Fastin at the mo so im its hard to get to the gym cos of work as well, so im gonna be doin mainly calinsthetics

heres wot i ate yesterday

4.45- one and half litres of milk.
5 weetabixs
2 slices of wholemeal bread
400 g weight gain shake
fruit salad

4.32- 7 samosas
10 potato fritters
4 chicken strips


6.30- weight gain shake


7.40- 300 g rice
300g chicken

9-half tub cottage cheese
half litre milk

trainin wise it was pretty poor, trained at 7 so i was pretty lathargic.

Did 70 classic pushups
20 triceps pushups
50 bench dips
50 squats at 60 pounds
45 deadlifts at 60 pounds
30 lunges at 60 pounds
then around 10 mins shadow boxin HIIT style

    good thing u thought of starting ur own journal, i didnt regret it one bit when i started mine not too long ago...it kind of helps get even more motivation into u when u need some, well for me at least, i just think of hmmm if eat this im going to have to post it and then im going to get sh!t from everybody, lol, things like that...anyways good luck with it ;)

    Good on ya mate.
    Post up your usual routine and your goals and then I am sure you will get some commenst that will help you.
    One thing man, try and stay off the samosas, pakoras, and anything fried!! That is just full of fat. I know its hard when fasting but its just hardcore extra fat.

    Yo cheers 4 the encouragement girl. Yeah i guess its quite motivational lookin at ur progress. Yeah Ironhead im tryna stay away from Ammi jaans cookin but its soo damn hard, plua it tastes soo good. As well for goals wise, jus tryin to get up to 180-190 pounds in 1-2 years at 5'11 but i got huge metabolism i dont gain weight even on a 3000-3500 cal diet. oh well such is life.

    You should start lifting heavy weights for low reps then mate.

    for bout 2 weeks and 4 days, so not too long. will be back on a 5X5 routine after tha fasting.

    nets been down. training wise it went pretty well, diets been pretty poor but thats ona the downfalls of fasting. Training wise i did this

    25 classic pushups
    3X5 weighted pushups with 30 kg on bak
    25 diamond pushups

    25 X 4 hyper extensions

    25 X 4 Vacuums

    5 X 1 min static leg holds (im bullshi**in here bt its basically where u hold in a chair position as low as u can)

    25 X 4 super lunges

    then some other grip work which i can't b bothered to post up an y'all can't b bothered to read.

    Did some odd object liftin today. Somin which J5 had recommended in regards to a post of Simons, only found a 20 kg bag and 50kg bag of cement mix, but sure felt i got a good workout from this, and boy does it test ur grip. I think i might have become hooked to it.

    Diet wise this is what i had to eat

    5.10- 4 weetabixes
    6 slices of wholemeal bread with tuna in low fat mayo
    bout 4-5 glasses water

    4.18- Large pizza
    4 tuna sandwhiches
    2 bowls fresh fruit salad

    6- 4 glasses milk

    8- couscous
    11 (well right now)- tub of cottage cheese

    Tuna sandwiches... I ate those for 2 years with just lettuce and tomato. Never again. [V] [xx(]

    These days I just mix tuna with baked beans, or have tuna mixed with mayo and some bread on the side.

    LOL, i usually jus put em in mayo and add some cajun sauce, usually use bout 2-3 cans of it. But after drinking soya protein for a month, i guess everything else tastes pretty good.

    right today was really up for tha routine that J5 had posted up using sand bags, but sadly it is pourin down here in London. so i opted to jus use the pathetically light weights i have

    3X5 hyper extensions wid 25kg barbell behind the neck
    3X5 pullovers wid 30 kg
    100 pushups
    60 one legged squats
    25 dips @ bodyweight

    diets been pretty decent today, compared to the crap i've been eaten ova the last weeks

    5.15-3 wholemeal roti's(dunno how to describe em- sorta like tortilla's i guess)
    5 glasses water
    1 litre milk

    4.10- potato fritters (baked)
    cottage pie (low fat)
    3 dates
    3 chicken sandwhiches

    6.00- half litre milk

    7.45- chicken breast
    white rice
    2 bowls fruit salad

    Aight did some work wid sand bags and bricks, and fcuk me is it much harder than normal barbell work.

    today i did

    3X5- bicep curls wid 25 kg sand bags
    3X5-military press wid 30 kg bag of cement
    3X5- bent over rows wid 13 bricks
    5X5- squats wid two 25kg bags

    and 3 X 10 sec 25 kg sand bag holds
    30 reps on each hand tennis ball squashing.

    to be honest no, i've seen a loss in gains to be honest, probs due to the fact that i eat much more normally than i do now whilst fastin. oh well hopefully tomorrow will be the last day of fasting and i'll be back to my usual 2 day split, and muscle memory will kick in.

    Aight gone to the gym first time out of a long time, ma workout was kinda rushed cos of other commitments which pissed me off. oh well here how it goes

    all weights in kgs

    deadlifts 3X3- 80 the max weight i used
    dumbells bent over rows 3X3- 24
    chins-20 chins, 4X14 kgs, 4X14kgs
    triceps pushdowns- 4X4- max weight 30 kgs

    Have you tried barbell rows? I find they are much more stable and allow for less body movement and recruit teh lats much more than dumbells...

    Also why tricep pushdowns??? Do some stuff like dips and skullcrushers man!

    b4 the fastin thats wot i did bro.i was in a hurry i didn't want to change the plates on the bar so used dumbells, plus the gym was kinda packed with about 50 or so odd ppl in it, so thats why i did the triceps pushdowns. but im startin a new routine which can be found in the routines section, im now jus waitin for criticisms of it.hows ur training goin btw?

    OK, just post the routine here man! You should have it in your journal! Mine is going pretty good...just PB'd again on Bench (see my journal) and carrying on with teh heavy weights. Gotta start cardio hardcore and start trimming down as I am getting fat around the tidd!

    Jus came bak from da gym bout an hour ago, and boy am i fcuked. (i guess that wot not goin to the gym for 33 days does to ya)

    front squats 5X5- 45 (done for the first time)
    bench press 5x5- 50

    wrist curls 3X10-10
    medicine balls pinchs-3X10 sec holds
    static holds- 3X10 secs holds usin 28 kg dumbells

    diet wise pretty sh*te
    11.00- 2 PB and Jelly sandwhiches
    12.40 weight gain shake in water
    3.00-bout 400g of basmati rice with lentil soup and greek yoghurt
    5.00-cup of almonds
    8.00-basmati rice, cubes of lamb, yoghurt
    water intake probs less than 1 litre
