need advice from an expert. please help!

Hello everyone. I have been lifting for the past few years now. i only stop when i get sick usually. around last novermerish time i was about 215lbs and in fairly good shape. A few months before that i weighed in at about 245lbs with alot of extra fat weight. i usually lifted everyday and took pretein and no-xplode and nitrix after awhile after i lost some weight about 30lbs and i also did lots of cardio. i think i also took some ripped fuel also. .one day at the gym i kind of blacked out almost and couldnt really stand up and felt like i was gonna pass out and the doctor claimed it was from the nitrix. but anways i stayed lifting and kept in good shape. then around january i got sick too sick to lift for about four months and gained a lot of weight back due to inactivity and bad eating habbits. . . . this is now the current time and i have some questions. . ive been lifing and working out now for about the past two months. ive gotten back on some supplements and some vitamins. i usually work out aobut 6 days a week with weights and everyday after i lift i usually do 3 to 4 miles on an olyptical on the fat burn setting. i also play basketball quite a bit too about 3 times a week for an hour at a time at least. i am weighing in at about 240lbs right now. im benching 245lbs x 5times and thats the most ive ever done so ive pretty much got the strength back due to the supplements but i still have a lot of fat weight i need to get off around the stomache area mainly. i am currently taking: No-xplode, CE2 (creatine), glutamine, fish oil, gnc daily vitamins, and Optimun nutrition whey protein. . i figure i wouldnt lose as much weight due to now taking creatine as its the first time ive taken it but i figured the weight would stay up and ide just lose some fat in the stomache area where its the worst at and gain muscle weight. i take 2 protein shakes a day and have improved eating habbits but this go around it seems as if its harder to lose the weight. anways i just wanted to know if anyone knows of anything else i can do. . i was also wondering if it would be safe to add in ripped fuel to the supplements im taking???? i took them a long time ago and couldnt fall asleep at night ide wake up panicked with my heart racing at times so i dont know if its a good idea to try that again on top of all these other supplements im taking. i try not to take anything supplement wise but i just want to get into shape as fast as possible before school starts so im taking quite a bit now. all i used to take was protein shakes but now ive added alot of supplements to my diet. another reason why im hesitant to take ripped fuel and all the others is my dad had his heart valve replaced and his father died of a heart attack so im not sure how safe it all is for me to take. . once however i took the nitrix and no-xplode into my doctor and he laughed and told me it was a waste of money and that i could get all those products out of normal food and that they were harmless so i dont know what to really think my doctor doesnt seem like the smartest one out there. . . ok well sorry for this message being so long but if anyone out there is real knowledgeable on the topic i would greatly appreicate their input and suggestions whatever they may be. thanks alot

I wouldnt say i am an expert but your focus needs to be on your diet not supplements.

If your experiencing heart palpitations with your ripped fuel i suggest you drop it. There are many other alternatives for fat burning, some which are not stimulant based. But as said above your results will be dictated by your diet.

I suggest your post your diet in the diet forum and take on board what the members have to say.

It sounds like your prepared to put the effort in and i am sure you can lose plenty of fat before you need to look at supplements.

    Good luck.

Yes my diet is alot better than before i only drink water and mainy eat tuna for lunch then workout and have a protein shake, then dinner is usually something pretty healthy with a salad. i was eating a lot of fast food awhile back which is what put on all the extra weight but i hardly ever eat fast food anymore. I also drink alot of green tea i heard that was good too. . yea i dont really expect the supplements to make me lose wieght i just looked pretty swole and defined at the time awhile back so i figured ide bulk up and try and get big quick and then add in alot more cardio and cut down on the weights once i get up to a good size. . thanks for youre reply keep em coming if anyone has anything else to add ide appreicate it also.

    Out of curiousity :

    a) how old are you?
    b) what sickness kept you out of action for 4 months?

When I was a young boy, my father took me into the city to see a marching band. He said, "Son when you grow up, will you be the saviour of the broken, the beaten and the damned?".

haha i didnt mean expert expert everyone i just meant someone that knows what theyre talking about kinda more than someone who just started out. . .

    but a) 20 years old

    b) im not sure what i had. it started off with cold like symptoms and my nose would be completely plugged up everyday and i would cough sometimes and feel feverish. the doctor said it would go away in about 3 weeks, then 3 months had passed and i still had it. . then he said he wasnt sure that it could be a sinus infection or possibly cancer. i got a cat-skan to see it i had sinus poillups anywhere in my head but i didnt have any on it. that was as far as the testing went. i feel better now and we dont have that good of insurance so were holding off on anything else until i get sick again if that happens but hopefully not. im hoping that it was just a bad sinus infection

Please be advised that I am in no way an expert, but have a read of the following link which I really enjoyed reading.

    http://www.muscletalk.co.uk/Building_your_House_%2D_New_to_the_gym%3F/m_1101455/tm.htm

I also wonder if you are doing too much, you do have youth on your side, but for me 6 days a week with weights would be counterproductive. By this I mean in terms of muscle gain / overtraining, and in terms of lowering the immune system (especially in relation to all the cardio you are also doing).

As for the Ripped Fuel, this is not a product that I am aware of and so I cannot really comment. However, in reference to the generics that you could have been given I would research all supplements very carefully.

    I hope it goes well.

Thanks for that link DMT i kind of browsed thru it right now but am kind of in a rush so ill read it more carefully tomorrow. Yea i dont think im doing to much but i may be worng. I was going about four times a week lifiting wise for about 1.5hrs a time. but now i do one muscle group only a day so thats why its 5 to 6 days a week now, that and i dont have a job at the moment so i got a lot of extra time. but since i only do 1 group a day im usually lifiting for aobut 45mins to an hour. . . yea the Rippel Fuel is just like a hydroxycut and all that crap that gets advertized. im not sure at to all whats in it but some people tell me its just basically tons of caffiene and some other stuff but i just assumed that it was b.s. and never really believed that it would work.
