need advice on brother in laws Circuit routine?
my brother in law has started a new Circuit routine at his all singing and dancing teeth are whiter than the walls gym.
they seem to have a routin already set out for them which is all machines.
his goal is to loose weight, he is about 3 stone over weight, his diet is a bit of a mess,
example he ate out 4 times last week on take aways, and drank 3 bottles of wine, this is something that can be sorted but i want to
get his routine down first, maybe what he is doing is right but i dont know to much about Circuit training.
His plan is:-
Monday - Circuit + run
Tuesday - Stepper/xtrainer or bike or rowing machine (45 mins in total)
Wed - Circuit + Run
THURS - off
Fri - Circuit + Run
1. tricep press
2. Stomach cruncher
3. Bicep curl
4. hamsting curls
5. Lateral pull
6. Seated row
7. Shoulder press
8. Deadlifts machine its like a wheelbarrow
9. Ab cruches,
10. chest press
11. Leg extentions
1 set of each for 20 reps
1. 1 lap doing 1 rep of 20 on each machine (50 sit-ups)
2. Run 1.5 miles (15 mins)
3. 1 lap doing 1 rep of 10 on each machine (25 sit ups)
Normally takes 45 mins, and advice would be welcome.
