    What's the aim, mate?

To be honest, once a week probably won't do an awful lot. If it's for general fitness, either to maintain weight or to keep off fat when bulking, you'd be better served running three times a week or so.

If it's for cutting (ie. losing weight) you could up that to four or five times a week.

Choose short intense cardio over boring hours on the treadmill. Far more beneficial also. That is my piece of advice

As said what are your goals, many types of cardio but the type you do will depend on your goals too.

Add some cardio to your workout after your weights, twenty minutes upwards, depending on what you think.  Try three to four times a week and see how you do.  Some find this is enough, some need more.  If you feel you are putting on too much fat then increase the session time.

doing cardio once in a week would be not of much help if you are doing it for general fitness than it is ok otherwise you have to increase this.

If your doing cardio to lose a little weight or maintain your weight I think interval training would proberly be more useful for you

I do at least 40 mins cardio a day after each workout with weights, its surprising to how much more vascular you look to because of the fat loss,
Thats based on a Monday to Friday training schedual,
