I bought some that sound like that.

The short answer is: I dont use them.

Do they not have a loop mate?

If they don't I'll hazard a guess at having to use some type of knot

    bump for more info

Wrap one end round your palm a few times then the other end round the bar until your hand and the bar meet. Grip over the bit wrapped round the bar

You mean you cant adjust the actual loop itself?...I though this was always the case, then as you fed the strap through the loop is just tightend into your wrists.

thread the strap through the loop

then tighten that around ur wrist.

Then wrap the remaining length of strap around the bar.

Its easy to get the first one done.. the second is hard cus u have no free hands.

Personally I use lifting hooks.. straps are a bit of a game for me

Dont have those ones mate. I have cloth ones.

Only thing I can suggest is synthol injections to the wrist!!

The fixed loop isnt supposed to tighten.

Feed the end of the strap through the loop!!!!

you will then have a loop that does tighten

    I see whats wrong.

There is no loop, they are sewn together, look fairly useless unless you have the exact size wrist.

Where did you buy those from?
    I would probably bin them
