You may need to be a little more specific.... Do you mean your current training days are just fighting based?? Do you do weights on your training days?? Etc, etc...

...technically if it's a 'non-training' day then you won't be doing anything other than resting.

It all depends on your goals really, i.e. are you aiming to.... bulk/cut/get as fit as possible/put all efforts into martial arts/etc/etc. What is it you wish to achieve by puting in the extra days effort each week?? It all depends on your final goals really.

I currently am just training in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu currently and my week looks like this....

Monday - Full body weights - Mainly big compound exercises
Tuesday - Cardio - Usually 1 hour low intensity
    Wednesday - BJJ training - 2 hours
Thursday - Full body weights - Mainly big compound exercises
Friday - Cardio - Usually 1 hour low intensity
    Saturday - BJJ training - 2 hours
    Sunday - Rest

However with a very knackering job, I am sometimes too fatigued some evenings to do any training atall so I listen to my body and when I need rest, I take it. (Usually its the cardio that I end up missing though)

Yes, as above really, it depends on your goals.

Although i do feel that any fighting art can benefit from some form of weight training.
