LOL, I posted one very similar when I first joined. It claimed that the sauna actually helped to melt the fat away because the temperature was high enough to liquify it or something like that. I think it it was that easy we'd all be sitting in there

it said because of the high tempurature the heart has to increase it bpm and the increase of the heart rate increased the calories burned. has someone tested if there heart rate go higher when in a suana

300cals in 30mins and my bpm would be up at 140-150. If you reckon a sauna can raise your bpm by roughly double then thats amazing

    170K Squat
    110K Bench
    225K Deadlift

You lose a lot of water through sweat.. thats why some boxers may go and sit in there for a few hours if they fail to make their fight weight.

I dont beleive that! it may burn a few extra cals but not that many

when you get your own body heat up by exercise and your BPM you are burning extra cals because of the exercise , the only thing that is heating your body up here is the sauna and the only calories being burned is the fuel used to power the sauna

but you will have to produce and little extra sweat to cool down and so you might loose some water weight temporarily

    it does work!

Some Pro bodybuilders sit FOR HOURS in a suana the day before i contest - they sweat and it sucks al lthe remaining water from their skin.

    but it doesn't burn fat

indeed, helps sweat out out mostly water

also, at first your body sweats out water with sodium, this then reduces water retention. then you just sweat but before hand, you need to take some multi vits because youll sweat out minerals at the same time.

also, you have to sip water during the time because the more your body gets rid of water, the more it will try to save it when your at a certain water level. itll try to hold onto it after a while and this can cause water retention again, but hey, doesnt matter because youll always be sweating no matter what so more and more comes out of you.

Hazard a touch of narcissism without shame.
