nutrigrain bars

can anyone else tell me if the nutrigrain bars are any good for between meals in order to gain size.or are they not wholesome enough?

    Think there are better choices to be honest ...

    Bars containing protein woudl also be good - perhaps homemade ones

    Raw dead Lift 320kg
    Raw bench 171kg
    Shirted bench 200kg
    Amateur cage fighter @ 95 - 105kg

    yes i think i will try to make some at home as you say i got a way to make them from here so il give it a go.its just those nutrigrain bars are very expensive and i wonded if they worked and are worth it .thanks mate

    'wondered if they worked'.... they aren't designed to do anything. They are simply an over marketed/hyped cereal bar, of which there are plenty on the market, and most are pretty poor TBH

    i ate 8 of them today thinking they were good for you.dam i should have asked on here before i spent my money on them cheers lol

    lol why did you think they were for gaining? it's pretty much just carbs. 2g of protein. not exactly a body-building bar

    i suppose i was taken in by the media hype.cos i cant read the packet it is so small.how sad is that

    well if you look at the packageing and the adverts etc you se a good balansed bar as it is portrayed.yes i was taken in by the media

    think i will try to make my own and train harder that will hopefully put weight on to make me stronger thanks for your input mate
