Anyone know the nutritional values and GI/GL of maltloaf?

    GI?GL isnt stated anywhere IIRC

    one slice equates to appx 80 cals (sliced version) majority carbs coming from sugar

    Hi

    Maltloaf is around 330 kcal per 100g. It is obviously v high in carbs so it could be a reasonable substitute for a post-workout dextrose/malto shake.

    It's pretty useful to pack in the calories if you're doing a lot of CV - rowers for example have it as part of their staple diet!
