or
we used to shout beat it to each other and my arts teacher said "stop shouting beetroot"

My school was called St Christopher and the Head always used to roll his 'R' and always made sure we pronounced it ChristOFer and not ChristIfer

Maths teacher was the best, he used to throw his chalk at anyone not paying attention and the science teacher used to have a rubber plimsol which he drew a smiley face on and called it Wilfred. Anyone who misbehaved got it on the backside until Wilfred disappeared. Oh boy do I wish they'd bring that discipline back

Can't remember any sayings but we had a history teacher who had some kind of breakdown and shut herself in a cupboard. Someone went to get another teacher and we all had to wait outside. Everyone took the p1ss at the time but looking back it was really quite a shame.

In yr 8 and 9 we made several teacher cry. Male and female. Being a teacher can be really tough and I suppose I feel sorry for them but some deserved it.

No they don't. They are doing a job and probably only react the way they do because some kids are just so up their own arses they think they know everything already. Lack of respect big time these days and it pisses me off

my Re teacher used to say when colouring in our pictures from the bible

    ,"shade horizontally, not vertically"

we had a music teacher, a woman who had a small beard,
she used to put on Lilly the pink and fanfare to the common man and stars on 45, (remember them) on the record player and asked us if we enjoyed it.
