What were you doing to cause these red marks?

Could be sweat rash? If you had torn something in your back/shoulders you would know about it! Might be the clothes rubbing?

I sometimes get marks in a similer place when I do bench flyes, but its from the bench itself, but not too sure if your doing back exercises?? Are you leaning on something with an edge of some sort?

nope i did (is this the real name) one arm rows on bench

just changed to straight leg bent over rows (is that the proper name too?)

tried to take photo but can't get the angle right.

but this is my right shoulder, the back is the same

They look like normal stress marks to me. Usually caused by burst blood vestles. Common from Calf raises and machine squats and other machines which have pads that rest on you shoulders.
There harmless marks that will go away on there own. Those arn't from the 1 arm rows IMO.

Relax, you probably did some squats or a workout with a bar across your shoulders. I freaked out the first time I saw it too, it's irritated blood vessels. I get em everytime I squat. They usually go away in a day or 2. They looked like scratches from a woman the first time I noticed them, or I should say, the first time my wife noticed them...

Try explaining that when you don't know what it is...

I get them all the time where the bar/pads sit on my shoulders. Missus was quite suspicious first time she saw them!

Just pressure marks in my opinion. Had shedloads over the years, nothing to worry about

As far as I know, forgiveness is for the benefit of the person doing the forgiving, not the one being forgiven

    lol

    I had the same fella!

I get them from incline bench pressing where the back of the bench rubs against my lats/shoulders!

I get these from my coveralls, they pull tight around the cut between bicep anterior delt when I'm lifting stuff at work,
they are like small bruises or love bites
