overworking chest?

hi
ive put a post up before regarding my uneven pecs what made me stop training 2 years ago!!!
just wondered is 3 times aweek for just chest too much??? can i do weights for my chest like 3 times a week or would i be over working it??? ie flys dum press one day the machine dum press the next??

    You would be overtraining yes. Each muscle once per week is enough. Just stick to a good chest workout, bar/dumbell press, flyes and an extra exercise 'if' YOU think it's necessary but normally two exercises is good enough unless you have a 5 day split. Muscle comes with time not how hard you work it.

    I leave 5 days rest for each muscle group before i come back to it and that is spot on for me i think. If you are training your chest hard each time, i agree with Lilbigman, 3 times is too much

    Wouldnt bother with flyes my self, just bench press and weighted dips, nothing else.
