plans for christmas

Whats everyone up too .
I love it and see it as a time to relax the diet and training for a few days and spend time with my family.

I finish work on the 23rd then get 5 days off which i cant complain about .

So who's doing what and how do you treat diet and training over this period

It's never to late to start but always too soon to quit

I have three assignments to do over the Xmas period - one of the a 50 pager. So I'll be doing those. Planning on having Xmas day and boxing day to myself though.

Xmas morning I'll spend with my girlfriend. Having a nice breakfast, opening presents, and we'll probably take the dog for a walk together. Then heading over to my old man's about midday and spend the rest of it over there - eating and watching a few films. Can't wait. Boxing day is around the girlfriend's parents for more presents, food, films and board games. A pretty standard Xmas I'd imagine

I won't train on either of those days and will eat whatever I like. Plus we did the Xmas shop yesterday and spent a bomb on food so the diet will go out of the window again between Xmas and NY

    Merry Xmas to you all!

Normal working rota for me so a 14 hour day shift today followed by 14 hour night shifts Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday  , off Friday then back to 14 hour days on Saturday and Sunday.....No time an half or double time at all over Xmas or New year....Hope everyone else has fun though lol.

Complete break from the gym from Christmas eve, diet will no doubt go out the window for probably about two weeks lol.  I know lots of people will think this is a load of mumbo jumbo but I would like to learn the basics of palmistry.

Training is sporadic atm as I'm too busy, so I'm fitting the odd session in here and there. Got January's programme all worked out so hitting the gym big time on Jan 2.
Diet out the window till then. :crying:

    Last minute shopping today.
Break up from work at 2 a.m. Christmas Eve, a Guinness at 2.30 a.m. and bed. Up at 9 to see mum in care home with present.
No plans for going out Xmas Eve yet, usually stay in tho' I might visit local for a couple in the afternoon

Christmas Day will be spent visiting dad's grave in the morning and saying a few quiet words.
Me, wife, her two stepdaughters and two grandkids for dinner. Son-in-Law is a chef and he's doing the cooking which gives Mrs Floyd a break this year.

After dinner I always go for a walk by myself to get some air and peace. Xmas night relaxing with telly.
Boxing Day might manage the gym before going to friends' party on the night.

The relatives have invited themselves over again
Working xmas eve and boxing day.
Tweaked the back so currently having a few days rest. Had done 7 days on the bounce so I won't feel too guilty.
Diet? Only had 2 protein bars today but I think I'm living off yesterday's carbs as I aint hungry.

I'm sure I don't need to mention it again, but me and the wife split this year so it will be very different. I'm going round early to see the kids open their presents. My mums doing xmas dinner and my brother is coming..... something she hasn't done for a while as it was only her and my dad. Kids are coming round in the afternoon and staying over until Boxing Day tea time, then I'll have them on odd days over the break.

I break up from work tomorrow lunchtime followed by an all day drinking session then don't go back til the 5th Jan. I've had no time off work this year so it will be a welcome break.

I normally stop traing altogether but as I'm back at my parents with nothing much to do when the kids aren't here, I'll still be getting random sessions in to keep ticking over. In fact, I've managed to train over the weekend to get ahead by a couple of sessions for next week.

Diet will be totally relaxed and has been since Thursday. Although I've already had a ton of junk so I need to be a bit careful.

I really fancy a run on xmas day before dinner actually.

i trained boxing day - had recently moved into my new house and it took me a few weeks to settle in with sleeping, so despite having a few beers xmas day night, i was up at 6am boxing day, wide awake, so packed a bag and went and did legs. there was a surprising number of people in there.

Check park run mate. The one by me is doing a Christmas Day run this year. Only 5k but could always do 2 or 3 laps!

I'd actually do the ParkRun if I could.  I'm in a running club and loads from there are doing it.  But I'm going round to watch the kids open presents, help them set stuff up, etc.  So I've no idea what time I'll be done there and don't want to have to rush off.

Saw my kids this weekend and went shopping with them for their Christmas presents.  Also visited my mum and dished out pressies.

    Seeing my dad on Tuesday.

Girlfriends mum and brother coming over xmas eve and staying for christmas dinner, then over to friends house for xmas drinks, then travelling on boxing day ready for a week of skiing in Tignes which includes outdoor new year party in Le Lac!  HYPED!

Problem is, I've injured my bloody foot and can hardly walk on it.  Needs to fix itself fast!
