pomegranite juice

i have been reading about the far reaching benefits of pure pomegranite juice on the internet.it is supposed to help prevent cancer and other life threatening diseases.can anyone tell me if there are also benefits with regard to the implementation of this drink into the diet of a bodybuilder? apart from the benefits of prevention of various deseases.

    Pretty much any fruit or vegetable is of value to us TBH.... vits, mins, anti-ox etc etc.

    yes i realise this but the extra benefits of not only getting fit and strong.its nice to know that there is a food that can prevent illness thereby keeping us well enough to train and stay healthy for longer.just wonded if anyone else had anymore info on the benefits of this on things like muscle growth or does it help to repair muscle tissue things like that

    You can do research on pretty much any fruit and/or veg and get much the same info TBH..... they all contain various things that will all help various ailments and conditions

    Stop being a twat......... he was expressing a prefernce to a fruit as there was evidence to support it fighting illness - I was merely highlighting the factthat the same can be applied to any.
