porridge 3x per day

On a bulking diet when I am pressed for time I sometimes get a quick fix by eating porridge in hot skimmed milk with a banana 3 times a day (fills you up instantly).. I know it lacks in EFAs and other nutriants etc but I do make them up in other places, the thing that worries me is that this is a bit of a gut buster..... feels very heavy in the stomach......... a bad idea ?

    i assume it will have protein added somewhere?

    dont see a problem apart from the lack of variety if the rest of the diet supports and adequate macro/micronutrient intake

    if you can stomach it, and are getting your requirements elsewhere.. i cant see why not

    I love my oats!

    Using oats as your main carb source won't do you any harm as long as your overall diet is good
