power cage/rack plans

I need some plans to build a power cage, theres one in beyond brawn but ive lent the book to my mate who has just gone to norway. Has anyone got any plans, im gonna be making it out of steel and welding it myself as im a dab hand welding, so none of this wood or scaffolding business, its gonna be solid like the real thing.

If anyone has or knows of any plans, could u let me know, i've read one plan but it has no techinical drawings so its very hard to follow.

Me and AP tried to go about building our own power rack a while back ala JWB with scaffolding. We 'visited' a local building site to acquire some raw materials, but due to a busy schedule that day, we had to go down there at about 1am. Conveniently, there was a pile of scaffolding propped up against the wall which had our name all over it. Unfortunately, the plan went bristols up when AP tripped over a tree stump and knocked the scaffold pile over, which landed on a nearby mechanical digger, which obviously didn't have the handbrake on, causing it to roll down a bank and land on a pile of bricks and breeze blocks, which all smashed to pieces. The headline the next day in the local newspaper was that 5k's worth of building materials had been damaged, and to make matters worse, AP suffered a strained groin from his minor fall. So the moral to the story is, you can can tie your arse to a spaceship, but it doesn't mean you're going to uranus.

lol thanks jonny but im not making out of scaffold, gonna be making it out of steel like a proper one that way it will be easier and quicker for me to adjust than having to loosen the couplings on a scaffold one....

I think mabie the time and effort fabricating that (unless your in the biz and have all the stuff) would probably be easier to buy one for a coupleof hundred quid - a decent wide one.

    im not bitter.
