pre and post workwork

hi just like 2 ask any 1 who could recomend a pre work drink which would help me train a little harder am on a diet at the moment trying tp loose some body fat and also could any 1 recomend a post work out which would hav 2 be pure protien any make would just like to throw it out there and if anyone has any ideas thanks

    I have a scoop of whey protein before workouts whether I'm bulking or cutting ... usually with some low fat yogurt or a piece of fruit.

    I then have 1.5 scoops of whey protein with 60g Waxy Maize Starch (30g on a cut) about 15 mins after working out, followed by a soild meal 45 - 60 minutes after.

    There are supplements available for "increased pump" and all that crap, but I don't bother ... creatine might be worth while if you fancy it, but I'm a non responder.

    "Protein Powder .. that's like steroids, right?"

    "Yes, chocolate flavoured steroids. I also have some strawberry flavoured crystal meth if you're interested?"

    I take BCAA -  Protein/Carb shake before workout and after. It's all my body needs (I do cycle Creatine and Glutamine but not always).
    And as Jake says above you need that real meal about 45 mins to an hour later!
