lol i know what u mean but like u say the best way i found to keep everything taste nice and not be dry is find some good sauces to put on them when your cooking it and they will be still nice for the day after

Anything that's a sauce-based thing will taste better the next day, such as pasta sauces, chili, curries, stews, casseroles, etc.  All of them keep well, if kept in covered containers, and put in the fridge when they've cooled.

Really a lot of this is just trial and error, and you'll find out what works for you.

If I am cooking rice or pasta for the next day, I tend to stir that into the sauce, or it does tend to dry up a bit. Oh and one last thing, don't make heaps of rice to use up- it doesn't keep for more than 24 hours when chilled. Any longer than that and it starts growing really very nasty bacteria

Stir fries are great as I think they taste better for the next few days and they can be eaten cold also.
