progress and advice
Just want to say iv been coming on this site a lot and iv found the information top notch.
I started the weights on April 1st. Cardio wise, I have a rowing machine and in May I started running which im well pleased about as Im making really good progress, iv never been so fit, I'm a changed man lol.
So Im just over 3 months into my weight training, Iv been doing a full body workout (3x10) 3 days a week. Im really pleased as Im starting to look toned and defined now,was lean to start with apart from a bit of fat round my stomach.
A few examples of my progress; shoulder press,upright row started on 10kg, im now on 22 1/2 kg
bench press/lateral fly started on 15kg, im now on 30kg
Other excercises I do in same workout- dumbell curl, dumbell tricep extension, squats, leg raises and weighted ab curls on my ab bench.
Now this is where I come to a crossroads because a week ago I introduced deadlifts (I know should have been doing them from the start) and bentover rows; This is taking the piss now lol, I need a 3 day split bearing in mind I dont have machines only weight bench,leg extension, barbell and dumbells.
Anyone out there recomend a good 3 day split for me, would appreciate any suggestions.
P.S I'm getting aches in muscles that I never knew I had after starting deadlifts lol, good stuff.
