pulled right pec!!!

hey bros, i need advice. i was doing the 5*5 on chest, i was on my last set of barbell flat bench when i try to go for 5 reps, i pulled my right pec. it felt like it cramped and than i felt pulling. I couldnt even do my incline dumbell, it felt like i was gonna kill my muscle, it felt horrible. it happened today, i streched it at the gym, and when i got home i iced it. i also put on this menthol rub on in it. I'm really mad, its gonna set me back. you guys have any idea what i should do to get this better?? and how soon should i start training my chest?? should i do it light next week, or just totally take it off?? need help bros.

    first of all, its good that you iced it. Now, for the next week rest it

    then see a doc/physio to get it checked out

    Ditto. Ice it for the fist couple of days and give it complete rest. If it still hurts after a week then see a physio as help2001 suggested.

    do dont anyway back work either, possibly any squats either, try avoid any exericises where the pec are used or stretched.

    seek professional advice i.e. not a doctor
