my back routine:

bent-over one hand dumbbell rowz
deadlifts
pull downs

    then do some negatives, or use the machine that allows you to lift a %age of your bodyweight, or get a strong mate.

    those machines worked for me. i couldn't do a single dip and i just kept using those and eventually i could do dips.
