raw cocoa

Raw cocoa powder... yummy!

Would you say that it is terrible having a couple (or perhaps even 3...) of teaspoons a day if the rest of the diet is relatively clean?

I can easily sedate a sweet craving for a small cup of cocoa (just water and the powder, no sugar or milk).

Thanks!

20g of unsweetened cocoa is about 64 cals which is enough to male a nice hot cup of cocoa with sweetener. it also contains 4.3g of fat (2g sat) 4g of pro, 2.3g of carbs and 2.5g of fibre

If its decent brand and relatuively unprocessed then cocoa has some good health benefits!

i use the unsweetened variety as its actually 100% pure. bloody bitter though on its own so i have it with some honey and its full of excellent bioflavenoids and antioxidants. Also gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside especially when eaten with ice cream i find . That ice cream would be my recipe ice cream BTW

I'm thinking of it with a big dollop of double cream on top.

Suppose that's not the same is it

actually redhot i have a interesting alternaive to doubel cream. Just mix some evaporated milk with some plain gelatine and leave it cool and it will turn into thick cream you can use the same way but without any of the guilt
