go for a good brand shake with a mix of carbs and protein for recovery.... companies will used different extras too such as creatine, added glutamine added vitamins etc which will also aid in recovery.. go with the popular ones which members will talk about.

Basics of this one, you want to take on simple Carbs straight after training ie. 5 mins after training - an isotonic drink, or even a couple of spoonfuls of glucose in water would surfice..  Then, about 15 mins after that, neck a Protein shake...  This will ensure your body uses the Protein efficiently and effectively...  You can mix your carbs into your protein, but it's 100 times+ better to separate them...

I got advice about this from http://www.bargain-supplements.co.uk/ - good guys...
