    protein+carbs.

buy yourself a whey protein supplement, and a carb source. The most common carb source is glucose/dextrose

you can buy both from here: www.myprotein.co.uk

    Probably the most important meal.

    Personally I use 40g whey and 60g glucose/dextrose.

protein and carbs after workout are key, but things like creatine or beta-alanine can make significant difference in recovery.

How often do you train and what sort of intensity? ? ?

If you diet is nailed and geared towards your goals then you will generally recover more quickly.

If you're PWO meal then you're solid. But its always wise vto have a PWO right afterwards. PWO is the key to growth, as well as sleep.

50-60g of Waxy Maize Starch, 22-25g of Whey Isolate in water is a good combination. Then once you can, have your PWO meal.

its done as soon as you finish your workout so if cooldown and stretching is part of it then you would take it after youre done with those exercises
