rest

Hey, I know everyone has different views on bodybuilding. I have one friend who says workout 6 days a week, one body part a day for 3 hours, and give a week's rest. Another friend says workout 3 times a week, 2 body parts a day for an hour, give 5 days rest. Then i spoke to a trainer who told me i can workout every other day, same body part for an hour, and only give 2 days rest. My routine is: I workout 4 days a week, different body part a day for one hour, and i give a week's rest. What is your opinion? How long should i rest? How long should I workout? Also, since creatine speeds muscle recovery, would it be okay to workout more often? And for all of you who have used creatine, DOES IT enhance muscle size?? Thanks, guys.

i just came off of creatine i got a little stronger on it. i noticed that i got bigger from it. the one place that i noticed a change was my forearms. i was on some weak creatine i think. it took forever before it started to work and about the recommended time for me to get off of it was when i noticed it was working. i am going to get back on it soon and am going to try and better brand. i've heard that some people say it doesn't work for them though.

Wow, did I read that right. One body part gets trained for 3 hours!!!!!!!

Whole body once a week does me with a 4 day split, normally 2 parts a session and no longer than 1.5 hrs if I can help it (depends how lethargic I am)

i do, whole body at once. rest until fully recovered [usually 2-5days] and repeat. i train for strength though and only use 4 compound moves, thats it.
