running accutane to keep acne at bay???

right, got my next cycle planned.

however during pct from my last cycle, i got acne all on the chest and shoulders not nice at all, considering not 1 spot throughout the cycle then bang an explosion of them.

i tried everything possible apart from accutane as the doc wouldnt refer me to the dermo quickly enough .... twat!

anyways i am thinking of running a small dose of accutane per week before, during and after this next cycle to keep the acne at bay.

does anyone else do this (think bbigman does) and does anyone have any recommendations regards doses, remember my acne is not to severe and this will be used to keep the acne at bay not just clear it up.

cheers for any advice

One 20mg cap per week is enough once its under control, until then you may need 20mg twice per week or more.

Its very harmful, make dam sure you know what your doing.

So I know that I am an extreme newbie to bodybuilding and this forum, but I feel that I know enough about this subject to throw in my two cents. IMO, I would steer clear from accutane. It's side effects are noticeable on any person who is devoid of any type of drugs, let alone steroids. The two drugs mixing wouldn't be advisable. That being said, acne is a bitch, and I would suggest something like Proactiv. It's cheaper and should keep most of the acne at bay.

cheers for the input bbigman, always appreciated and your input too krippler.

what dosage were you running krippler, and the doasge stated by bbig is 1/35th of what my weekly dosage would be if the dermotologist prescribed it to me.

so in that respect can it really be that bad?? bearing in in mind i wouldnt be using to get rid of acne totally but just to keep it at bay through cycle and pct?? all the info i have read about side effects has been regards to the mg to kg body weight ratio. ehich is what i wouldnt be following.

    again cheers for the input.

what do you mean noticeable on any person? can you tell me or direct me to an arcticle or link that says more about it? I was thinking of doing the same thing just to keep acne at bay, because last cycle my acne was classified as very serious by a dermatologist. And as a little time passed it all went away after I got done with my PCT

agree with Bbig, Accutane is great for acne, but some people don't get along with this drug at all. Its potentially more dangerous than Dianabol/Anadrol when it comes to side effects.
Accutane can elevate bad cholesterol, which will have a cumulative effect if your cholesterol levels are already higher than normal while running a cycle.
Triglycerides & liver values should be monitored(typically once per month) also. Of most importance are triglycerides.

doing that at moment mate, apart from sunbeds cos i just had a tattoo done. have been on B5 for ages and dont think it works for me, although i have noticed a change for the better after using nizoral.

my issue is that if i am to do another cycle then i need something in place that is gauranteed to keep the acne at bay.

Nizoral is applied direct from the bottle. Lather up like shower gel. Use once a day
