share your quirky 'odd' lifts

Tried doing some land mine pressing this morning for the upper chest. Kneeling in front of bar and pressing up and away. seemed to stress upper chest well. going to try some single arm rowing off end of bar attached to land mine also. mountain dog style.
Anything you do a bit different ?

I dont know what they are called - seen a video on here of someone (lambo maybe?) doing them - Dumbells for Shoulders, standing holding the bells by your legs, between front and side so pointing out diagonally from your body. Heavy enough that you can keep your arms straight and lift them diagonally away from you without them coming up above your chest. I guess they are like side raises but done at a different angle with a heavy weight.

Looks weird and you resemble a bird trying to slowly flap its wings lol but it seems to stress the front delts really nicely.

That landmine press looks interesting, will give that a go as an accessory lift. Cheers

olympic ring dips n pressups - not especially quirky but never see anyone else doing them, zercher squat (although just moved on to traditional front squats), also like a nice plyo press up betwen a couple of stacks of bumper plates.

A lad at the gym does a leg exercise that i've never seen anyone else do.
he starts the lift sat on his knees, heels touching his behind, light barbell on his back. jumps up, flips feet into squat position then explodes upwards. it hurts my knees just watching him

i do glute ham raises on the lat pull down station, usually grab a broom handle to prevent total face planting

    Done that one before AH.

SR: I did that on a flat press machine once.... and snapped the handle off it

Used to do a wheelbarrow style DL with 2 bars, gripping the loading end for some grip work. Used to also do lots of plate pinching, towel hangs, chins gripping a draped over towel and lever work. That used to often interest people.

You kneel on the pad you'd sit on and face out/away from the machine.

Have tried Jefferson squats and staggered stance deadlifts in the past. Somersault squats are also something 'quirky'...caused the worst doms so certainly did something.
