RE: should you train before a big meal
I eat few hours before(want food to digest so i can use it during training) so breakfast/lunch/afternoon meals are all carby.
Then i train in evening(6-7pm),
whey shake after (7pm)
Then around 1hr later, solid meal so my shake isnt "interupted" by food/hindered with regaurds to digestion times(debateable if whey is digested anyway by then).
