shoulders fail when benching

when i bench press my shoulders fail before the big pump to my chest.
is my grip too wide? can any one help

    What weight are you benching? It might be too much for you. Try lowering the weight until you feel confortable and then up the weight about 5 kg every month as you get better. That's what i do.
    If you shoulders are failing then make sure you are training them correctly. Post your routine and other more experienced weightlifters might be able to help you.

    you will never get a big pump in the chest from benching, delts and tri`s take most of the brunt, if you want a pump from benching try super setting/ pre-exhausting with flyes first..
