smashed my pb

ran this morning with a hr monitor with an alarm set to 163 low and 175 high, then tried to have no alarm on the flat and make the alarm bleep on hills (rhr=43). ran 8.5 miles in 62 mins. would normally be 65-70 mins. need to work on hills which is most of it to get below 1 hour.

    61.15, this morning

didn't feel i put enough effort in though. i had trouble getting hr above 163 and was cautious as ground was wet and leafy.

i still feel i have more in me and i can get under an hour.

not really, i run at 5.30am as its the only time i can find, so i stick to main roads for safety. there is a really nice 11 mile run along the river that i like to do as the air is so much cleaner, so running is easier.
