solitary fitness

Has anyone read the book by Charles Bronson, did you use his training programme and did you get good results from this? I'm starting it tomorrow but one thing i do not get is he says to not follow the routine he created but aid and abet the workouts in conjunction with the other chapters, so does this mean not all of the excesises in the book are in his routine?/I don't get why I can't just follow the training program he has made?? Any help on this please

Hopefully you mean the actor and not the geezer in jail?
Chapter 1 - Get yourself locked up for something daft then you'll have f**kall to do but workout.

The book is solid, but don't expect any big gains. It's based around isometrics and frequent bursts of pressups and crunches. He wants you to aim for a thousand pressups a day...but you can take all day to do it. You're encouraged to master the handstand to build shoulder strength. Back work is mostly isometrics. Diet advice seems fair considering what Bronson had to eat in jail lol he's clued up about EFAs and that.

Yep I've read it. Crooks has summed it up pretty well. It's an interesting read (mainly because of who it's written by) and can increase your strength a little but it's mainly for beginners to exercise in general imo (or could be handy if you're injured and can't train properly).

I done it myself a few years ago, the crazy towel exercises etc. It's obviously not going to compare to proper weight training.

The cow punch, butt cleansing and how to make your penis grow sections tho! lol

As for your question as I remember it, you just follow the routine as it is written. A lot of the book was just poorly edited and contradicting from what I remember, so I can understand the confusion, but you've got to bear in mind it's written by a complete nutter
