Ok this Soya can be stubbon to mix with juices, however it does tase ok that way. Other than making some kind of vegie burgers with it, is there another way to fufil its purpose in life? [?][V][xx(][8)][:o)]

You can do anything with it that you'd do with normal protein. Try makign protein pancakes with it. Mix up a few egg whites, add a scoop of protein powder and then cook like a pancake. You can then top it with a heap of different things - fruit, yoghurt, maple syrup - anything.

I just drink it as it is, mix with water, in the shaker and neck it. Holland & Barrets chocolate flav. is the best one of the soy protein powders I think.

Cheers Nikki, I have been reading the forum for a while already but never posted before.

I know quite a few vegan bodybuilders and powerlifters, but yes, we are still a small minority. People tend to think that you cannot be big without eating any and every animal bit and piece you can lay your hands on - until they meet me that is ;)

James, I did read the article mate, actually it came up in the search engine and thats how I found this forums to start with! Your article helped me in the way you probably didn't intend it to :)

Have to keep an eye out for the book. As vegan I've had to build my BB diet pretty much on my own as veganism/vegetarianism isn't big in bodybuilding world and bodybuilding isn't big in vegetarian/vegan world either!

Is that so? A long time vegan and a friend of mine won the thai boxing world championship back in 96, I know vegan boxers (one of whom ranks 2nd in my home country) etc. And I'm only talking about vegans, there is loads more vegetarian fighters i'm sure.

But I guess you know better mate.

edcase - cut the crap - its not the first time you have been warned by the mods is it?
You are clearly uneducated - it is possible (although alot harder) to get a great physique as a vegan. You just choose carefully. Sure I doubt he will pose a threat to Ronnie Coleman, but then neither will anyone on this board, including myself.
