I do a full-body routine, so is it relevant to your question?

Squats are the most important part of a leg work out IMO everything else is just an optional extra.

Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential.

I do them last hits the quads more than doing them first, carn't use as much weight but i'm not interested in having a big squat.

Dorian isn't the only person squatting in the world, you'll probably find many more people saying do them first. If you are so knackered after squats that you can't do anything else, then great you did a good squat workout.

because dorian pre-exhausts with quad extensions.

im guessing because then the quad will fail rather than lower back

    Forget about Mark Dundale.

The important thing for you now and for a few more years is to develop your squat and your leg strength.
The way to do that will be by focusing on your squat and leg press first.

Concentrate on perfect technique,  then getting the poundages higher, then increasing the reps, then getting the rest time down etc.

There is a whole lot of growing to be done before you worry about pre-fatiguing or any of that other stuff.

Squats first, they are all you really need for legs for most people. Leg Press are ok but have nowhere near the benefits squats do...

People tend to overcomplicate things, squat hard and with proper form and you will get results (strength, size, both) alot quicker than worrying about leg extentions, hamstring curls and pre-exhausting (which tbh I think isn't suitable for most trainers anyway)...

I like to warm up always with leg extensions then ham curls, then it's squats, then finish of with leg press if i have the energy.

Some people will benefit doing them last, depending on there goal routine etc etc.

If you love something let it go,if it comes back to you it's yours,if it doesn't it never was.

remember training is a very individual thing and what works for one person may not work for another. i think most people would find squating first to be best (so long as your properly warmed up) but not all
