test boosters any good on their own?

Anyone got any experience using a test booster on it's own? i.e. not as part of pct?
Not sure i'm brave enough to try steroids - otc or otherwise, so thought i'd look into some of the boosters on the market.
Anyone tried any? Know if any of them are any good?

response to them is quite an individual thing, as it relies on the bodys response.  lots of people report good things from them, and its certainly worth a try.

BUT, you do need to be realistic, they are never going to give the results that a prohormone or DS cycle would, but then they dont come with the list of potential problems and side effects  of PH and DS  either!

    Well put by dazc.
If taking them, a good aim would be to put on a bit of lean mass over a period and get some moderate strength/rep increases.

The right product used on its own (with proper training and diet in check) can certainly provide benefits - but of course to what extent and worth is subjective and user dependant.

I think you need to know you have your diet and routine spot on before spending money on 'extras' tbh. There are good products out there though.

Whats supps do you currently use?
I would look at using a good creatine, some fish oil and protein powder if diet is lacking or convieniance comes into play to reach protein daily targets - maybe a good post workout recovery product or simple maltodextrin with whey.

Do you have the basics nailed before opening your wallet :-) ?

If you choose a quality product, one based on clinical evidence with solid anecdotal reports then imo its a good step into the feeling of having higher test. ie slightly more aggression, slighty better recovery, a little more progress in reps or size/fat loss.

The results, as mentioned by dazc, will be nothing compared with an anabolic,  BUT no need is required, no on cycle supps needed, and can be cycled on and off quite easily.

My top recommendations, in alphabetical order are....

    Bioforge
    HCGenerate
    Testforce2

All very different in ingredients but all with good feedback and ingredients.
NB: the bulbine based products, eg tropinol, phytoserm347 are also promising too and worth researching.

Fellow body sculpting enthusiasts - your advice, as expected, has been spot on! Especially as i didn't give much away in terms of aims, and what i'm up to at the moment. This may be a familiar story - I want to put on a bit of lean mass, lose bit of fat - ha ha yes i know not easy!

Dazc - i should be realistic, the gains aren't gonna be massive, but hopefully be noticable - to me anyway, and thats what counts.

Vibora - i'l lbe buzzing if i put on some lean mass - if i do then i'll count it as very succesfull - may try and start a thread talking through any effects - though i'm sure it won't be anywhere near as interesting as some of the PH or DS cycles that some people journal.

jw - ha ha yes very good question - yep, get the basics nailed, diet is pretty clean - don't eat no ****, and what i do eat is all about improving performance and building muscle.
    Oat based musli for breakfast
Quick swim or run before work followed by whey protein with water
    Bit of fruit mid morning
Chicken, turkey or tuna in pittabread for lunch
Yogurht in afternoon - ok no real benefit apart from taste with that one!
Some sort of fish, chicken, red meat with rice or potatoes with veg for dinner
Gym session either at lunch time or after work, knock back another protein shake and creatine mono afterwards.
Also take Zinc, Magnesium and Vit B6 supplements twice a day.
Thats during the week anyway - weekends can quite easily turn to ****e - I know I know there's always room for improvement!
Gym sessions generally split between legs, chest and shoulders.

Finally, M118, i was hoping somebody would recommend some, thanks for that - will do a bit more reading on the boards but having 3 recommendations is a good starting point as there are so many products out there

    Hey mate

all the guys mentioned above have given very sound advice... i recently moved in the world of ds after messing about with various "natural test boosters" for some time... my verdict is very similar... some do work just dont expect massive gains...

The ones m118 has suggested have me interested for extra in my PCT (HCGenerate is pretty hard to get hold of though) and will probably give gains on a stand alone basis..

From my personal experience T-17? i think by Sci-mx is pretty good but it makes you smell like curry.. Nolvadex xt by gaspari is probably my favourate though as it seemed to give more visable results (thinner waist/ looking more lean generally) however i only ran this for 4 weeks at 2 caps aday (one bottle)... would be pretty interestingto see the results for 8 weeks at 2 caps or maybe even 3 (what it says on the bottle)..

one thing which maybe worth ago if you havent used it before is size on by gaspari... its not a test booster but a creatine/carb/whey formula that you drink during workout... that stacked with superpump250 (preworkout NO booster) really helped me to push out extra reps and bigger weights and gives you massive "pump" effect- veins popping out your body sort of stuff... no-Xplode and Jack3d are also NO boosters worth looking into...

    anyway hope that helps

Most of them work, to varying degrees and it's nearly always that you get what you pay for. However, I think how well they work is often determined by the individuals expectations of the product and their reason for using it.

You will not get a steroid like effect, but you can benefit from raised t-levels and improved recovery and an edge to strength etc. Many will asssist in helping in leaning you out too.

But personally I think their best use is after a cycle of some sort when your body needs all the help it can get to boost natural production again.

BTW. m118s reccommendations are great. There are also products out with a new extract that is making some interesting reading though - bulbine natalensis. ;)
