treadmill question

i have been thinking about how good it is to use a treadmill in a gym,my point is the air you breath in a gym is used air ie,not pure oxygen espesially when a gym is full of other people working hard and breathing aroung you, surley it is better for you to run outdoors,im sure you have all been next to the guy who hasnt bathed for weeks and breathed in as you run,do you think the quality of oxygen would be affected?

running on a road next to vehicles or in a gym, air is prolly better in a gym tbh due to the amount of oxygen that you breathe out each breath compared to the oxygen given back by each car that passes you ;]

treadmill - easier to control gradient and work rate. depends on what you want tho. if you were to goto a gym and just use a treadmill then i personally would think the person is wasting their money. if you want to do other things aswell then clearly a treadmill is better as the other equipment is right there where you need it ;]

i agree with the road but i dont run on pavements i use the canal bank or fields,i think you may be saying it is more convinient to use a treadmill if already at the gym,but it has to be better for you if you are outdoors ie field etc,do you agree?

Ginasmg understand your point but the air that we breathe is only around 21% oxygen and whilst it obviously it isn't as clean as that you would find in the country it isn't bad anyway. Its normally the Carbon Dioxide levels of air which cause problems as when they rise too high it can cause drowsyness.
Depending on what sort of gym you are in they will have air handling plants which replace air at upto 10-15litres/person/second to keep it fresh. The gym i got to just has the door open, which also suffices.
If i had the choice i'd always choose a clean air environment just to answer your question

Sorry to change the subject, but you were querying how to upload images recently, did you upload?
