RE: tricep trouble
Tricep press extending from the elbow up - do not rotate from the shoulders (get your spot to hold his hand out as a target) i.e. the barbell should be above and back not appear over your head as your shoulders rotate - the objective is to keep stress on the triceps.
do this to failure,
then with your spot do 5 negatives - that is get him to lift the bar to the top then you take the weight to the bottom slowly
make sure your spot doesnt hold it on the way down, you want the weight not him/her
it should not be dropping to your head - but away and back as you are extending from the elbows
Pain is just weakness leaving the body..
