I'm 5' 8" and got up to 14.5 stone last year and it was horrible, couldn't run, I was always sweating and out of breath and had snoring issues LOL

probably just under 14 stone might be suitable and maximum for me

It's finally arrived....PM Neb for swaps!

Im 5ft 8, ive been at 14 stone and i cannot say i liked it. My bodyfat was around 15% so not too high, but i was breathing heavy and sweating hard and very often. Im now at 13 stone 3 pounds, i 'look' bigger than i was at 14 stone and i feel much better. Im gunning for 13 and a half stone and lean as humanly possible. If i crawl to 14 stone over the years then im sure ill adapt better as i go.
As i intend to try out for Armed response unit in 2 years time, i have to be able to reach level 11 on the bleep test with full armor on. Apparently its pretty difficult, not just that, but i want to maintain my speed and get back into martial arts again soon. It will be easier at this weight.

EDIT- I should add, before i EVER started bodybuilding or touched a weight, my natural weight was under 9 stones!

At 5'8 my highest weight was about 16st6lb and not very high bodyfat, in the late teens. However constantly out of breath it seemed, terrible constant shin splints, other things juist felt really rubbish in addition to my normal health probs! 15stone is a little more comfortable now, trying to get ripped though so I think if I get down to 14stone I'll be below 10% bf easily, and look a lot better and hopefully feel better, in time for holiday!

Muscularity making people look short? I have never observed this phenomenon personally

I think people generally look whatever height they actually are. Unless they are wearing platform shoes or high heels
