You can certainly increase your cardio, TBH 10mins 4 times a week is of minimal benefit, pace yourself and fitness depending aim for half an hour daily if you can.
Why were you told to avoid red meat? Can't imagine the odd bit a couple of times a week is going to be detrimental, not from a BF aspect anyway.
